Eye Donation Week

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The 23rd national Eye Donation Week will be observed from August 25 to September 4 in the State. The aim is to motivate the public to donate eyes after death to the visually challenged. This year’s theme is ‘Prevent blindness in children due to deficiency of vitamin A.’ Health Minister P.K. Sreemathy will inaugurate the State-level observance of the week at the Government SMV Model Higher Secondary School here. — Staff Reporter
