New facility for senior railway citizens

NEW DELHI: In order to alleviate the problems faced by the senior railway citizens in getting treatment in emergencies, Chairman Railway Board K.C. Jena launched the cashless “Smart Card” at Northern Railway Central Hospital here on Friday. As part of the launch some smart cards were distributed to retired railway employees.

To enable retired railway personnel to avail benefits of the scheme, forms and brochures of this pilot project would be made available in various railway health units in the Capital from August 27.
