Book smugglers under NSA: PMK
CHENNAI: The Pattali Makkal Katchi has demanded that the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam government book smugglers of sand and rice under the National Security Act.
Party founder S. Ramadoss alleged that the government was reluctant to take action against the smugglers, creating suspicion in the minds of people. It was for the government to remove the suspicion and protect people’s interests.
He referred to reports in a section of the media about the smuggling of sand from the State to Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. — Special Correspondent
