Public health engineers’ protest

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Association of Public Health Engineers, Kerala has protested against the storming of the JBIC office (Japanese aided water supply scheme) in Kozhikode and the destruction of office equipment by a group of persons led by the vice-president of the Kuruvattoor panchayat.

In a memorandum to the Water Resources Minister, it demanded action against those involved so that such incidents would not be repeated in future. —Special Correspondent
