Chiru not clear about his policies: Naidu

Special Correspondent

N. Chandrababu Naidu

NEW DELHI: Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu said that actor-politician Chiranjeevi has no clear views on various subjects, including economic policies.

There is no clarity on whatever he had spoken so far, he said here while talking to mediapersons. If he wished to give an impression that the new party would emerge as a credible alternative then he should be clear about his party’s name, programmes and what he wants to do for people’s welfare, he said.

Reiterating that the party is unfazed by the Chiranjeevi factor, a confident looking Naidu said his party would sweep the forthcoming Lok Sabha/Assembly polls in the State. Asked about the possible desertions from the TDP to Chiranjeevi’s party, he said if at all there are any desertion, they would only be by some leaders. However, the cadres are intact with the TDP and it is strong enough to win the polls, he said.

On the TDP-TRS relationship vis-a-vis Telengana, he said the party had set up a panel to decide on its stand.
