Plea against transfer

BANGALORE: B.B. Ramaswamy Gowda, MLA from Kunigal, has alleged that the State Government is conspiring to hand over the Sri Siddalingeshwara Temple of Yediyur in Tumkur district to Sri Tontadarya Math, Dambala, in Gadag. Addressing presspersons here on Friday, Mr. Gowda alleged that the Government was in the process of transferring the administration the temple to the math. Mr. Gowda said there was no relation between the math and the temple as claimed by the Math. — Staff Reporter
