QRS’ mega Onam scheme a mega success

The “ Pappadom Pottikku offer” the mega Onam scheme launched by QRS, the electronics and electrical retail giant in Kerala, has caught the imagination of consumers in a big way. The 21 spacious and air conditioned QRS showrooms across the state have seen a steady rush of customers ever since the scheme was launched on August 10. Customers are obviously loving the mega prizes and attractive discounts offered by QRS. The scheme ends on September 30 and in view of the consumer response, QRS showrooms are open till 9 pm everyday, including Sundays.

The scheme offers an exciting mix of discounts, prizes and exchange offers designed to keep everybody happy. The men in the family will be happy with the special buy back offer on LCD TVs. They can get a brand new LCD TV for a Rs 15,000 discount in exchange for old colour TVs. Women coming into the showroom seem to find the discounts on washing machines, frost free fridges and microwave ovens extremely attractive while the special prices on mobiles and digicams has caught the fancy of teenagers and youngsters across the state. Other consumer durables seeing brisk sales include 3 jar mixies, 2 litre grinders, gas stoves – all of which are either being sold at a discount or have exchange schemes. With the wide range of products on display and the international shopping experience that QRS’ plush showrooms offer, the scheme is proving to be truly irresistible to consumers.

The prizes on offer are truly spectacular. The mega prizes on offer include silk saris, gold coins, LCD TVs and a grand bumper prize of a Chevrolet Spark car. In fact, QRS will be giving away an unbelievable 211 prizes in a short span of just 50 days. Customers have appreciated the simplicity of the scheme.

All that has to be done is fill in a coupon and put it in the special ``pappadom pottikku” box. A lucky draw will determine the winners of the contest.

QRS also has special finance schemes attached to the scheme. These include zero per cent finance as well as easy finance. The easy finance available has made it easy for consumers to stretch their budget during the hectic Onam shopping season.
