Call to students to join in beach cleaning

CHENNAI: School and college students are invited to participate in cleaning the Marina and Elliots Beaches in the city to mark the Coastal Clean up Day on September 20.

The organisers will conduct a contest and students can think of different strategies and novel ideas to clean the beach, according to a release. Interested schools or colleges may contact D. Sudarsanam, Department of Biotechnology, Loyola College, at dsloy2003@yahoo.co.uk or 98844 07195.
