CHENNAI: Toto, a premier global manufacturer of technologically advanced toilets, bathtubs, kitchen units and water technology products with its base in Japan, has joined hands with the Chennai based TVH Consumer Products to market its products in Tamil Nadu. TVH Consumer Products has launched its dedicated showroom ‘Personal Space’ in Chennai on Saturday. Addressing presspersons here, after the inauguration of the showroom, Kazuo Watanabe, President Toto Asia Oceania, Singapore, said Toto was holding a 70 per cent share of the Japanese market and had operations in the U.S., and countries in the Middle East and Asia including China. He said the Neorest range of premium toilets had garnered high acclaim for their superior functionality and design world over. Ebenezar Selvan, Regional Manager of Toto in Tamil Nadu, said these high performance toilets had remote-controlled operations with automatic activation of flush function, temperature controlled seat cover, washlet, air jet dryer and the like. The minimum price for the product with standard features would be around Rs. 1.50 lakh.
