Cyclist crushed by mini-truck

NEW DELHI: A 40-year-old cyclist was knocked down by a speeding mini-truck at Tilak Nagar here on Friday. The victim, who is yet to be identified, was crossing the road when the mini-truck coming from Raja Garden hit him at a traffic intersection around midnight.

Some passers-by rushed the victim to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital -- where he is undergoing treatment -- and informed the police.

The erring driver, Prakash, has been arrested and sent to judicial custody.
