168 bags of rice, wheat confiscated

Bangalore: A team of officials from the Food and Civil Supplies Department on Saturday night seized 104 bags of rice and 64 bags of wheat that were being transported in a lorry from the Basavanagudi Cooperative Society to be sold in the black market. The officials, who were following the lorry , intercepted it at New Tharugpet, where the stock was supposed to be sold.
