Meet christened as ‘Komaram Bheem Vedika’ Special Telangana ‘ratham’ for Goud unveiled HYDERABAD: The Nava Telangana Praja Party (NTPP) is leaving no stone unturned to make its first public meeting on August 27 here, a success. It has announced a 33-day ‘Telangana Sadhana Yatra’ covering the region. On Saturday, NTPP president T. Devender Goud released an audio CD containing six songs aimed at whipping up the passion for Telangana among people. He told a press conference that the meeting was christened ‘Komaram Bheem Vedika’. The party was making all efforts to facilitate people’s travel. Several two-wheeler rallies, including people cycling to the State capital, were planned. This apart, people had also suggested ‘padayatras’. Given the acute shortage of vehicles, Mr. Goud said, the party had approached the South Central Railway to run special trains to the city from Mancherial, Manuguru, Nizamabad, Gadwal, Miryalguda and Warangal. The NTPP founder unveiled a special Telangana ‘ratham’, a light commercial vehicle with audio-video system and a sky- roof to enable him to address the gatherings. The finer details were being worked out for the yatra. He lashed out at Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy for declaring that the government had, in just four years, been able to solve every problem of the people and therefore there was no need for any new political party and came down heavily on N. Chandrababu Naidu too.
