Srikakulam is runner-up
VISAKHAPATNAM: Srikakulam finished as runner-up in the ACA North Zone under-16 inter-district tournament after its last round-robin match with host East Godavari was washed out at Vizianagaram on Saturday. Visakhapatnam had already won the tournament.
Vizianagaram was third and East Godavari finished fourth.
A three-day match between ACA President’s XI and ACA Secretary’s XI, consisting of players selected from the four teams, will be played from Sunday to select the North Zone team for the inter-zone tournament.
Also from Sunday, the Vizianagaram district inter-school under-16 tournament will be held at the MR College ground. Special Correspondent
