Foray into Bhakti Channel Out of the Box

Film comedian and television actor-producer Kadambari Kiran will soon be on the S. V. Bhakti Channel. His latest foray into mythological arena has him directing and acting in a serial ‘Shapa Vimochanam’ for the channel which is commissioning a host of content these days.

The Nandi award winner who has been around since early days of Telugu telly comes with an impressive portfolio that include serials such as ‘Asha’ and a list of notable performances including ‘Kasturi’ on ETV apart from big screen presence in ‘Bhadradri’, ‘Bava Bava Panneeru’. His performances for ‘Oke Okkadu’ and ‘Yuva Bharatam’ too won accolades on the small screen.

The shooting for ‘Shapa Vimochanam’, a daily serial based on mythological content, is to begin on Monday at Annapoorna Studios in the presence of Akkineni Nageshwar Rao and others.

“The serial is based on episodes from Puranas and other mythological and revolves around sages and curses,” says Kadambari.
