Wellness walk at Infopark

Kochi: Even as computer-related illnesses (CRI) continues to be of serious concern the world over, Infopark took a small step towards addressing the issue when IT services company UST Global held a mile-long wellness walk for the entire Infopark community on August 20.

The walk was flagged off by Infopark Chief Executive Officer Siddharth Bhattacharya.

Earlier in the day, a health check-up programme focussed on holistic health and food and nutrition was also organised for everyone in the Infopark campus.

Held as part of its worldwide launch of wellness programme, UST Global also launched a scientifically adapted package, ‘Simple Steps’ for its employees to identify their risk areas and make necessary dietary plans.

“It is an online module purchased from insurance major Aetna and contains a series of questions about body mass index and dietary habits.

“Our employees can log on to their individual accounts and find out by answering the questions their problem areas and solutions,” said Subhash K. Thomas of UST Global.
