KOCHI: As part of the National Eye Donation Fortnight, which begins on Monday, more than 25 ophthalmologic camps will be held in different parts of the district. The first camp will be held at Kanjoor grama panchayat where services of at least four ophthalmologists will be made available. The camps are organised to create awareness among the people. Eye camps will be held at all health institutions where the service of an ophthalmic assistant is available, said Dr. M.S. Sasikala, Deputy District Medical Officer, in-charge of the programme. The fortnight’s programme will conclude on September 8 at Vadavukode panchayat with an eye camp.
