Scuffle leads to youth’s death
VIZIANAGARAM: A. Ramu (18), a room boy in Vandana lodge at S. Kota, succumbed to injuries he suffered in a scuffle with customers around 1.30 a.m. on Sunday.
According to the police, four members of a marriage party – Y. Ramana, B. Venkataramana, Y. Tati Naidu and Y. Krishna Prasad – from Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh, who checked into the lodge, allegedly pushed Ramu during an argument over playing cards in the lodge resulting in head injury to the boy. EMRI-108 crew that rushed to the lodge declared Ramu dead.
The police registered a case and took them into custody.
