BELLARY: Connoisseurs of art and music were treated to a cultural extravaganza at the four-day “Krishnanand Lahari,” organised as part of Krishna Janmashtami celebrations at the Venugopal Swamy temple in Hospet. Artistes such as Venkatesh Kumar, Vidyabhushan, Anant Kulkarni, Sripad Hegade (all vocalists), Praveen Godkhindi (flute), Shafique Khan (Sitar) and Singari Melam, a folk troupe from Thrissur in Kerala, staged performances.
