Guruvayur: Eminent classical dancer Kalamandalam Satyabhama has been awarded ‘Sree Guruvayoorappan Puraskaram’ for her outstanding contribution to promotion of classical and traditional dance forms. Speaker of Kerala Assembly, K. Radhakrishnan, presented the award to Satyabhama, a leading exponent of ‘Mohiniyattam’. The award, instituted by Guruvayur Devaswom, carries Rs.10,001 and citation. Devaswom chairman Thottathil Raveendran presided over the function. — PTI
