RIMS building opened in Adilabad

Staff Reporter

ADILABAD: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and Ministers Galla Aruna Kumari (Medical Education and Health Insurance) and Ponnala Lakshamaiah (Major and Medium Irrigation) on Sunday made an effort at justifying the relevance and advantages of Rajiv Arogyasri programme and the government’s commitment towards improving irrigation potential. While the Chief Minister explained succinctly the nitty gritty of the Arogyasri programme and its need in the State, Ms. Aruna Kumari revealed that even Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders have come to praise the health insurance scheme.

Dr. Reddy inaugurated the first phase buildings of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Adilabad before inaugurating the mega medical camp in connection with the launch of Arogyasri and the 104 services in the district.
