Ali bags gold

VISAKHAPATNAM: Sk. Ali won the first gold for Visakhapatnam, beating P. Mahesh Kumar of Nellore by a unanimous points decision in the featherweight category final of the 55th senior inter-district boxing championship here on Sunday.

Earlier N. Santosh of West Godavari scored a unanimous points win over P. Chandrasekhar in the bantam weight final.
