Traffic advisory for today

NEW DELHI: The Delhi police have made some diversions to ensure smooth flow on traffic on the Capital’s roads during Jhulelal Mela processions on Monday.

The Pracheen Shree Jhulelal Mandir Sanchalan Committee will take out a procession at 4 p.m. from Kamla Nehru Park, Subzi Mandi Burfkhana, Pul Bungash, Azad Market, Pul Mithai, Tis Hazari Hamilton Road at Mori Gate and ISBT to Kudsia Ghat.

The second procession will be taken out by Sindhi Jhule Lal Mandir, Karol Bagh. Starting at 6-30 p.m., the procession will pass through Naaz Cinema, Jhandewalan Mama-Bhanja Ki Dargah, Telephone Exchange, DCM and Azad Market Chowk to join the main procession and terminate at Kudsia Ghat.

The third procession will be taken out by Sindhi Panchayat, Kamla Nagar, at 3 p.m. from Panchayat Bhawan, Kamla Nagar, Roop Nagar, Shakti Nagar, Nagiya Park, Singh Sabha Road, Kamla Nagar, Bhatia Chowk, Agersen Chowk, Madanlal Narula Road, Banglow Road, Mandaliya Chowk, Kohlapur Road and Malka Ganj to join the main procession.

Traffic will be diverted as per the position of the processions at Subzi Mandi, Burfkhana, Azad Market, Sadar Bazar, Hamilton Road, Rani Jhansi Road, Idgah Road, DCM Road, Shakti Nagar and Kamla Nagar Road. Motorists have been requested to avoid the route of the processions.
