Children feared drowned

NANDIGAMA (Krishna dist.): Three children drowned in Munneru rivulet near Keesara on Sunday afternoon. The boys belonged to Chandarla-padu, studying in class IX. According to police, Java Anil, Ganapaneni Venkatesh and Aavula Govind ventured into the rivulet for a swim around 4 p.m. and did not return. Swimmers conducted a search operation in the rivulet, but could not trace any of the boys. A case was registered. — Staff Reporter
