Fertilizer shop burgled

Staff Reporter

ADILABAD: Pesticides worth Rs. 8 lakh were stolen from a shop in Adilabad town’s main market on the intervening night of Sunday-Monday. The burglars cut the rods of the ventilator to gain entry from the rear side of the shop.

Srinivasa fertilizer shop is situated on the main road between Gandhi and Ambedkar chowks. A boy apparently gained entry through the narrow ventilator and shifted costly pesticides.

The emptied some of the cartons and carried the pesticide tins in bags.
