Expedition flagged off

NEW DELHI: To commemorate 50 years of Indian Mountaineering Foundation, an 11-member expedition was flagged off to the Maiktoli Peak in Garhwal region of Uttarakhand from Delhi on Monday.

Led by Col. Vijay Singh, the team will attempt to scale the peak in the Himalayas during August and September.
