No shortage of coal: Minister

JAIPUR: The Union Minister of State for Coal, Santosh Bagrodia, has assured all States that the Centre would supply sufficient coal to them. He said there was no shortage of coal in the country.

Addressing a function organised by the Agrawal Mahasabha in Alwar over the weekend, Mr. Bagrodia pointed out that NTPC had been supplied with coal amounting to 106 per cent of its demand this year. He said the small-scale industries were being given coal in accordance with their demand.
