Women workers to be felicitated

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje will felicitate about 1,000 women who have completed 100 days of employment under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme at a function in Aaspur town of Dungarpur district on Tuesday.

Dungarpur Collector Neeraj K. Pawan said in a statement on Monday that the State Government had allocated Rs.51.37 lakh for disbursement among 20,550 women in the district during 2008-09 under the Amrita Devi Bishnoi Scheme for their empowerment. As many as 10,367 women in the district have completed 100 days of employment.
