Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: A two-day Children’s India Film Festival 2008 will be held at Toronto in Canada from September 13. It is organised jointly by Children’s India, B.V. Nag Communication and Indian Languages Cultural Association.

Addressing presspersons here on Monday, president of Children’s India Nanjunde Gowda said the film festival was being organised to raise awareness and spread the country’s culture among children of people of Indian origin living abroad.

In all, six films in Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Marathi would be screened during the festival, he said.

‘Chinnara Chitramasa’

Film producer and director S.K. Bhagwan said Children’s India would organise “Chinnara Chitramasa” in different localities of the city in November and December, where children’s award winning films would be screened every Saturday and Sunday.
