Plea to include Nayee Brahmins in ST list

KURNOOL: Kurnool District Nayee Brahmins Association has urged the Government to include the Nayee Brahmins in the list of Scheduled Tribes.

The leaders M. Laxmaiah, V.V. Ramana Murthy and M. Maddaiah said that when the government was considering inclusion of Vadderas, Valmiki, Chakali and Besta among STs, Nayibrahmins should not be left out, they said.
