Vinay Kumar

NEW DELHI: In an initiative aimed at promoting India as a tourist destination, the Ministry of Tourism has joined hands with Singapore Airlines for screening its award winning “Incredible India” campaign videos on the international’s carrier’s flights to India.

With this initiative, Singapore Airlines will give further impetus towards promoting India as a destination via television commercials and films on its 58 weekly services to eight destinations in India.

The campaign uses captivating visuals of India, showcasing its diversity in terms of geography, heritage, culture and cuisine that goes beyond promoting India as the land of the Taj Mahal.

“India is a very important market for us. We hope this joint initiative will help in creasing awareness about the country’s myriad tourist destinations and culture at a global level. This inflight video will grab attention of six lakh passengers every year on board our flights to India,” said C. W. Foo, General Manager (India), Singapore Airlines. The carrier is slated to launch more services from Delhi from next month.
