Anganwadi workers picket Collectorate

Anganwadi workers and helpers in the district, under the aegis of the AP Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Union, will picket the Collectorate on August 30 to protest against the indifference of the Government towards their demands. Addressing a media conference in this connection on Monday, honorary president of the union’s District Committee M. Dhanalakshmi said that the Central and State Government had issued statements announcing a hike in the wages of Anganwadi workers and helpers in the Budget Session this year.
