Dumka: A CJM court has granted bail to two Jharkhand Ulgulan Manch activists, earlier arrested on charge of holding a police officer captive in Dumka district, as hundreds of tribals took out a procession on Monday hailing their bail remand as a victory. Chief Judicial Magistrate Shiv Vachan Yadav granted the bail to Charan Kumar and Hopna Murmu, who were arrested on charge of taking the officer-in-charge of Kathikund police station in captivity during a demonstration in protest against a proposed power plant in Aamgachi village in April. The bail was granted on sureties of Rs.4000 each.
