Last date extended for courses

TIRUNELVELI: Last date for applying for two-year Diploma in Medical Lab Technology and one-year Certificate in Medical Lab Technology, being offered Tuticorin Medical College, has been extended up to September 5.

An official statement said 155 persons will be admitted to the CMLT course – Emergency Care Technician - 20, Respiratory Therapy Technician – 20, Anesthesia Technician – 35, Theatre Technician – 35, Orthopaedic Technician (male only) – 35 and Certified Radiological Assistant – 10.

Aspirants, who have passed Plus Two in any stream, can join the certificate course while candidates who passed in the science stream can join the diploma programme.

Fee for CMLT is Rs. 1,450 while it will be Rs. 2,400 for the diploma course, the statement added.
