Atul Rao’s bail plea hearing adjourned

BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday adjourned further hearing on a bail petition by Atul Rao, accused in the Padmapriya Bhat suicide case.

Mr. Rao had moved the High Court after an Udupi court dismissed his plea for bail.

When the matter came up on Tuesday, Justice Mohan Shantangouder sought to be recused from hearing the case.

The case will now be placed before the Chief Justice to be posted before another judge. — Staff Reporter
