Chiru fans celebrate party launch

VISAKHAPATNAM: Fans of matinee idol Chiranjeevi burst firecrackers and made merry on the city streets on Tuesday as he announced the name of the party – Praja Rajyam – at the public meeting at Tirupathi, which was telecast live on TV channels.
At HB Colony Chiranjeevi supporters celebrated with firecrackers as soon as the party name was announced on TV. Youth raised slogans hailing the star and the new party. Former Corporator Thadi Manohar Kumar said he would convert the voter enrollment office run by the fans into an office of ‘Praja Rajyam Party’.
At Railway New Colony youth were seen speeding away on motorcycles raising slogans in support of Chiranjeevi and the new party.
