REPALLE (GUNTUR): Communist Party of India (Marxist) State secretary B.V. Raghavulu has said that the party will work along with Praja Rajyam party on people’s issues and problems, the way it is working with other parties now. Refusing to comment specifically on the alliance and other issues, he told reporters on Wednesday that it was too early to decide on those issues as party founder Chiranjeevi himself not spelt out policies clearly. Reiterating the party stand he said: “Once the party comes out with a definite agenda and policy on key issues related to Andhra Pradesh, the CPI (M) will decide its course of action in developing a relationship with Praja Rajyam.” The party State secretary, who was here to attend the statue unveiling function of former three-time municipal chairperson Makineni Seetharamaiah, expressed his desire to take India to the level of China where the education and health sectors had been given priority. Describing Seetharamaiah as a person who had set an example through his devoted work in self-rule, Mr. Raghavalu opined that people should follow the path shown by him and that would be the fitting tribute to the great personality. Statue unveiledUnion Minister of State for Human Resource Daggubati Purandareswari, unveiling the statue in the town centre, said that the non-partisan agenda he had followed in developing the town during those days, should be emulated. Tenali MP Vallabhaneni Balashourie and CPI(M) district secretary D. Rama Devi were also present.
