Christians take out protest rally

ADILABAD: Christians in Adilabad on Wednesday staged a protest against the murder of Father Thomas Pandipalli in Yellareddy mandal of Nizamabad that was committed on August 17.
Members of the different denominations in the community took out a rally demanding immediate stoppage of crime against Christians and providing adequate security to them.
Father Thomas Perandher of St. Paul’s Church, Utnoor, Father M. Joseph of Holy Family Catholic Church, Adilabad and Pastor Prabhudas of Bethel Church spoke at the protest meeting. They said the murder of Father Thomas was a highly condemnable act. Christianity advocated peace and the followers are peace loving, they pointed out. The protesters later submitted a memorandum at Collectorate.
