A budget provision of Rs.1,550 crore has also been made for implementation CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said here on Wednesday that his regime was the first in the country to have announced its decision to implement the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission on the pattern of the Central Government. Speaking at a felicitation function organised by the Haryana Karamchari Service Suraksha Sangh at Panchkula near here, Mr. Hooda said a committee headed by the State Chief Secretary had been constituted to consider and implement these recommendations. Moreover, a budget provision of Rs.1,550 crore had also been made for the implementation of these recommendations, he added. Describing the employees as a pivot of development, he said his regime’s main function was to ensure speedy development of the State and thereby raising the living standard of the people. He claimed that Haryana had made rapid progress during the last three years and employees had contributed a lot in this endeavour. “Haryana today ranks first in terms of per capita investment, whereas its position was 14th in March 2005,” he said, adding that it was next to Goa in terms of per capita income.
