Laxman Rao is TRS candidate

KARIMNAGAR: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi has announced the candidature of Naradasu Laxman Rao for the byelections to the Legislative Council from Karimnagar graduates constituency on Wednesday.
The seat fell vacant following the resignation of R. Satyanarayana. Karimnagar, Adilabad, Medak and Nizamabad districts fall under the jurisdiction of Karimnagar graduates constituency.
Mr. Rao is a practicing advocate in the district since the past 20 years. He is working as TRS Karimnagar parliament segment in-charge. During his college days, he was actively associated with the Radical Students Union (RSU) and participated in the Telangana statehood movement.
