Action against ex- bureaucrat demanded

NEW DELHI: The Revolutionary Socialist Party MP Abani Roy on Wednesday asked the Centre and the Rajasthan Government to initiate action against a former top bureaucrat, alleging he had constructed a road belong to Indian Railways near Jaipur.
Mr. Roy, member of the Standing Committee on Railways, said that former Union Finance Secretary, Adarsh Kishore was responsible for this. He said that senior officials of the North West Zone of Indian Railways and Railways Board have challenged the land acquisition under the relevant rules on farming in Rajasthan.
In a letter to Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, he said, the divisional head of the Railways has accepted that there is a dispute over a road acquired for railway project in Jagatpur-Sanganer and affected the entire zonal plans.
