Sharmila does well
BANGALORE: Sharmila Nicollet, playing as an open entry in the 100 Plus Malaysian junior golf tournament emerged runner-up. Tiffany Chan of Hong Kong was the winner in the girls section with a score of 228 for the three round contest. Sharmila was one stroke behind the winner with scores of 79, 72, 78 over the 54 holes.
Sharmila won the gold medal in the G1 Group (below 18 years). She also took home the runner-up award in the overall section and another medal for the best day score for the second round.
The tournament was played from August 19 to 21 at the Palm Resort Golf course in Malayasia.
