KSEB workers beaten up
Staff Reporter
Thiruvananthapuram: Two Kerala State Electricity Board workers were manhandled by students of the University College in the city, allegedly for wearing ‘rakhi’ on their hands. The students, who are said to be activists of the SFI, thrashed the KSEB lineman and driver who had come to rectify a faulty electricity line on the college campus. The students also snatched the ‘rakhis’ on the duo’s hands alleging that they were members of the RSS. A case has been registered against the offenders for attacking persons on duty. The KSEB workers sustained minor injuries.
