St. Joseph’s wins title

CHENNAI: St Joseph’s College of Engineering bagged the overall championship with 181.5 points in the St Joseph’s South India athletic meet held recently.

The men’s championship was won by Loyola College with 124 points, while the women’s title went to St Joseph’s College of Engineering with 116.5 points.

The best athlete award in the men’s section was annexed by B. Baskar of A.M. Jain College and in the women’s section it was G. Gayathri of St Joseph’s.

At the valedictory function, Olympian Ramachandran, Superintendent of Customs gave away the prizes. St. Joseph’s Director Babu Manoharan presided.
