ICSI reaches out to students

BHUBANESWAR: Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) said it was providing 24X7 hours online study facilities going beyond classroom teaching and reaching out to students in urban and rural areas.

“Under e-learning which has been launched by ICSI, students can have continuous access to studies and guidance of faculties on-line.

Thee-learning module will enable the students to have access to learning and faculty support at any time as per their convenience," ICSIpresident Keyoor Bakshi said here on Thursday.

After the proposed virtual classroom facility under e-learning portalstarts, students would be able to interact live with the faculty andthis would take the company secretary course studies virtually into the space age, Mr. Bakshi said.

ICSI will be organising its 9th national conference of practisingcompany secretaries on the theme "Be the change, You want to become"on August 29 to 30 here.

The conference is expected to be attended by about 300 delegatescomprising company secretaries and corporate executives members who are intending to take up practice.
