Renavva elected Gadag ZP chief

GADAG: Renavva Padiayappa Kalahal of the Congress was elected president of the Gadag Zilla Panchayat here on Tuesday. As Ms. Renavva was the lone candidate, Election Officer and Regional Commissioner of Belgaum Amita Prasad declared her elected unopposed. She represents Chikkanaragund constituency in the zilla panchayat. — Staff Correspondent
