Folk artistes take out rally

VIZIANAGARAM: Under the aegis of A.P. Praja Natya Mandali, folk artistes took out a rally from the Fort to the Collector’s office and staged a dharna there on Thursday demanding that the government protect the traditional art forms from extinction besides extending benefits like pension. B. Suri Babu of the CPI led the protesters and submitted a memorandum to District Revenue Officer P.A. Sobha.
