Governor appeals for peace

BHUBANESWAR: Governor Murlidhar Chandrakant Bhandare on Thursday appealed to the people to maintain peace and harmony and prevent any occurrence of violence that disturbed peace. Mr. Bhandare said he was deeply disturbed about the violence in Kandhamal and other places. “Good sense should prevail and we should rise above caste, creed, religion and politics. The perpetrators of violence will be punished by law,” the Governor said.
