MET office gets it right!

This time surely the Hyderabad MET department got it right, while people generally tend to take the weather predictions with a pinch of salt.

Its prediction that hot weather will prevail in the city for a few days and it will lead to showers at certain places in city, while other parts will remain dry, is proving to be prophetic.

While Ameerpet, Somajiguda and Khairatabad got drenched, there was no rain reported in Tarnaka, Shivam Road and Amberpet on Thursday.

Similar was the case on Wednesday morning when it rained heavily in Somajiguda but not in places like Moosapet and Kukatpally ‘Y’ junction.

In fact, commuters who got soaked in Somajiguda, managed to ‘dry’ themselves in the hot sun, while on their way to Kukatpally and Hitech city!
