LJP stages dharna

Activists of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) staged a dharna in front of Sub-Collector’s office here on Thursday. LJP urban president D. Prem Kumar and general secretary D. Raja demanded the State government to resolve the problems of SC, ST and BC students in the district. They said that the government was not releasing the scholarships to the students for the past three years, and not paying enough cosmetic charges, uniforms and other necessary material. Later, they submitted a memorandum to Sub- Collector Gaurav Uppal.
