2 men run over

TAMBARAM: Two men were killed on the spot when a suburban electric train hit them near St. Thomas Mount station on Thursday.

Devajothi Lingam (27), an advocate from Arani reached the station with his client Isaac (50).

After alighting from the platform around 8.30 am, they continued to walk on the main line tracks. When they noticed an Express train on the main line, they jumped onto the adjacent track without seeing the electric train, which hit them.
